A Tidal Sea Pool opened in 1930

While not strictly a beach we can’t not mention Bude Sea Pool, a part natural part man made tidal pool at the base of the cliff on Summerleaze Beach.

Bude Sea Pool is charity run and the great spot for younger children to enjoy the sea with out the waves. Access by the steps at either side from the beach or from the steps down from the downs.

Shallow at the front for access or little ones to play and deeper at the back for swimming and jumping off the rocks.
