Two highly recommended stables, not far from Ivyleaf Combe are; Efford Down riding stables and Gooseham Barton riding stable. Efford down is situated in an unbeatable position. A small, family run yard, which offers road free hacks along the cliff tops around Bude. It caters for riders of any ability, allowing novices the chance to enjoy the view, and giving experienced riders an exhilarating hack

 Gooseham Barton is a larger, recently modified yard deep in the Cornish countryside. Offering rides to any ability it also boasts the chance to try western riding on specially trained horses.
